RST have updated their popular TracTech range of sporty kit with the new Evo 5 leather suit, jackets, and trousers, focusing on improved practicality, comfort, and safety. This includes level 2 armour across the board, an updated design for enhanced ergonomics, and new colour options for 2024.

The new leather suit still receives a AAA CE certification for safety, but all armour is upgraded to level 2 protection, and it features pockets for an optional chest protector. The ergonomics have also been improved, including a new collar design that improves comfort in a tucked racing position. Also available in ladies fit.
The new leather jacket is designed to combine comfort, style, and practicality for sporty road riders. It's cut with a less aggressive stance than the one-piece, to make it more comfortable for everyday use, but still features a AAA safety rating and the improved level 2 armour.

RST's TracTech Evo 4 jacket was tested by Justin Hayzelden, and he found it a comfortable, robust sports jacket mired only by its level 1 armour.
The new leather trousers offer more freedom of movement than the one-piece suit, while still including AAA safety rating, and now with enhanced level 2 long knee and hip armour. It features 4-way woven stretch inserts to enhance flexibility, a fixed mesh lining for added comfort, and double layered leather in impact areas.
The new textile jacket receives a AA safety rating, alongside the same upgraded level 2 armour as the rest of the EVO 5 range. It retains much the same functionality as its predecessor, featuring a removable thermal lining, RST's SinAqua waterproof lining, and TPU shoulder sliders.

The TracTech Evo 5 range will join the existing gloves and boots currently available from RST.

Tried and tested by Ben Clarke - They're a decent starter motorcycle boot for the price, offering level 2 protection for all but transverse rigidity. They're stylish, well ventilated, sporty summer boots that won't break the bank, even if they're not as high quality as some of the competition.
Tried and tested by Dan Sutherland - The TracTech 4 motorcycle gloves Comfy and warm, with CE level 2 carbon knuckles, Kevlar lining throughout, and fused outer fingers for protection during a slide. The TracTech Evo 4 gloves are all-day comfortable, secure feeling gloves that work well for sporty riding or racing, but the dye does stain your hands if you get a bit sweaty.
