Our example is the rare Competition special which is in fantastic condition and it gives the opportunity for someone to own a stunning 1950's BSA. Our bike is a 1950 model which will benefit from a full recommissioning service prior to sale and is supplied with a Gold Star owners club letter verifying the bikes authenticity as a true B34 competition model with tuned engine released from the factory on the 20th January 1950 where it was dispatched to a Hap Alzina on the West Coast of the USA. Also included is correspondence and a few receipts and MOT's showing the restoration of the bike. Following a disastrous attempt at the Isle of Man TT races in the 1920s, BSA withdrew from competition until 1946, when it launched a competition version of the 350cc B31, the B32. That was followed in 1947 by the 500cc B34.
