Arguably the best fireblade......so far.,For you video tour of this bike call 01782 900 100 or WhatsApp us on 07594 817 630,Unlike the 2017 onwards bike, this 2016 model was nipped and tucked for a track focussed experience. Starting with the most obvious changes over the standard bike it has Fully adjustable hlins NIX30 43mm inverted forks, specifically developed for the SP and an hlins TTX36 rear shock, also fully adjustable., ,The front NIX30 forks feature an outer tube 1mm larger than standard to help give the SP more stability under braking. The front axle shaft is lighter while the steering stem is made from steel not aluminium as the development team felt it offered better feedback, ,The brakes are Brembo monobloc at the front and a standard Nissin at the rear. The SP features Honda' electronic combined ABS system, with a dedicated ECU converts hydraulic pressure from the front and rear brake into an electronic signal passed to power units which in turn generate hydraulic pressure at the calipers., ,The top yoke has been revised too and is now forged for greater rigidity. The bolts used in the bars, yokes and front axle are lighter than standard too. At the rear, the TTX36 rear shock has been modified to suit the SP; the preload adjuster has been moved to make it easier to reach on the SP. The connecting-rod has been lengthened and the swinging-arm pivot point changed too, giving the rear slightly more flex with the aim of giving the rider more feel., , ,The SP's inlet and exhaust ports have been re-shaped and polished and the combustion chambers have been 'gas-flowed' to improve efficiency. The pistons are hand-weighed and selected based on their matching weight. Honda claim this is essentially a factory blueprint motor. Honda claim the SP produces 178bhp and 85lbft of torque., ,This particular bike has full service history. Supplied with two keys and handbook the condition is excellent. Just the addition of an Arrow exhaust to bring the best out of that blueprinted engine, tinted double bubble screen and tail tidy., ,We offer delivery and finance. The Potteries Motorcycles and Scooters

Waterloo road, Burslem, ST6 2EL

MCN overall review verdict: Honda has given Fireblade fans a reason to smile. With its classy Öhlins suspension, Brembo monobloc brakes, blueprinted engine and drop-dead gorgeous HRC paintjob, the SP is the most desirable Blade in its 21-year history. With its improved handling, braking performance and grip, the SP is destined to be a faster-lapping, easier-to-handle track day bike than any previous model. And all the sexy bits make it a far better road bike, too, thanks to its smoother engine, plusher suspension, stronger brakes and taller double-bubble screen.
