Put a lid on helmet theft with new security system

You want the best security for your motorcycle and helmet…we’re talking super forcefield with built-in taser for those pesky (for want of a better word) robbers. 

Equally you want an anti-theft system that works and doesn’t ruin your bike or gear. 

Well here’s a new suggestion from BMW accessory specialist Wunderlich…

It’s a helmet anti-theft system offering a safe, secure and simple way to hold one or two helmets on the German manufacturer’s current BMW R1200GS. This means your panniers will be full of space and free to put whatever else you desire in them.

It uses a length of 5mm silicone-coated steel rope that allows loops to emerge from either side of the bike’s seat. These loops go through the helmet’s chinbar and then secure into a release that sits under the seat, so only the bike’s owner will be able to lift the seat and free the helmets.

The kit costs just £39, comes with mounting materials and instructions, and fits the 2013-on R1200 GS LC and 2014-on R1200 GS LC Adventure.
