New gear: Shark Spartan Lorenzo Austrian GP helmet
Shark Helmets have launched a new special-edition version of their Spartan model, inspired by the devil design worn by Jorge Lorenzo at the 2017 Austrian GP.
The Shark Spartan Lorenzo Austrian GP is inspired by the same design as the £649.99, limited-edition Shark Race-R Pro Lorenzo Austrian GP which came out in April, but uses a more affordable helmet as a base.
The latest lid was developed using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) technology to improve aerodynamics and reduce noise, with the goal of making the ‘ultimate rider’s helmet’.
- Michele Pirro wins Race of Champions at World Ducati Week 2018
- Yamaha MT-09 SP long term review
- MCN wins first place in The Bike Shed's first Café Racer Cup
- £220k Honda RC213V-S up for sale
The helmet features ‘Shark Skin’ peak side fastenings for active noise reduction, a double spoiler with incorporated air extractors to optimize the aerodynamic trail and internal cooling, and a Pinlock MaxVision visor.
The Helmet will be released later in July 2018 with a reasonable RRP of £329.99 and will be available in sizes XS-XXL.
