Urban motorcycle clothing experts Tucano Urbano have stepped away from their routes and developed an all-new adventure-touring range, set to arrive in the early stages of next year.

Developed by a dedicated band of riders, the new range has been created for the more explorative of motorcyclist, who likes nothing more than spending a weekend off the beaten track on their fully-laden adventure bike.

Known as T.ur, the range is set to arrive in dealers around March next year and will comprise of a series of two jackets, a set of trousers, three pairs of gloves and two rugged bags for stashing your necessities.

Drawing inspiration from professional rallying, the new range offers a vintage look, contrasted by a roster of modern features, including the world’s first ventilated protection featuring D3O armour, alongside Cordura fabric and sturdy YKK zips.

In a statement released today, Tucano Urbano CEO, Diego Sgorbati, said: “T.ur is the result of months spent on the bike, and days speaking with the designers to select the best materials and change every little detail until we reached the result we were looking for; to create high-quality products for the most demanding motorcyclists.”

Known as the J-One and J-Two, both new adventure jackets will feature a three-tier layering system consisting of a main jacket, an inner thermal jacket (which can be worn separately) and a rainproof jacket to cover main garment, which can be stuffed away when not in use.

These can then be combined with the new P-One trousers, which again feature a modular three level protection system. Alongside the main trousers, there is a packable and integrated rainproof over-trouser, as well as a lightweight, detachable thermal lining.

Protecting your hands are three new pairs of gloves, all of which are CE approved and available in colours to match the jacket range. The first of these is the G-One waterproof glove, designed for year-round touring. This is followed by the G-Two design, which is a highly ventilated summer model for both on and off-road riding. The G-Three glove is again CE certified and is designed for enduro racing.

Completing the range are two bags – a B-One 6.5-litre tail pack with detachable waterproof lining and a 1.7-litre B-Two handlebar bag, featuring a touchscreen smartphone pocket alongside a space to store all of your most import riding essentials within easy reach.
