Help! GPZ instrument lights have stopped working

1 of 1

The instrument panel lights have all gone on my 1994 Kawasaki GPZ500S and I need to know if I need capless or mini bayonet type bulbs to replace them? I know they need to be 12 volt/3.4 watt.

If you have no instrument lighting at all, then you need to first verify a) the presence (or absence) of power, and b) that you don’t have a failed earth point. It seems highly unusual that all your lighting would fail at the same time without there being an underlying cause. Does your high beam indicator and tacho indicator work? If they don’t it’s an earth problem. However if they do work it is a supply issue from your switchgear.
