Add your NEC Show tips today

Our comprehensive guide to the NEC Show will help you get more from it than ever before. And now we’ve started adding your tips, from the people who’ve already been.

Together, we’ll point you to the hottest specials, the best bargains and the most interesting new products, and we to hear from you with your suggestions for those things you spot which other people should not miss. See below for how to send in your NEC Show advice.

Then there’s our as-it-happened news from Thursday’s opening Press Day at the NEC, including the latest about Hislop, Hodgson, Toseland, Haga and many more AND plenty of new bike news including special editions from Triumph and CCM and news of a new Triumph launch. We’ll be adding an exclusive video interview with Max Biaggi, recorded at the show, soon.

Follow the links under the pictures, right to access it all. We’ll be adding more and more pictures, video and soundfiles, too, to give you a real taste of the show if you can’t make it yourself.

Of course, many of you will make a bee-line for bikes like the new Yamaha R1 and Honda FireBlade to get your first glimpse of them in the metal. And we wouldn’t want to distract you from that. Use the free guide you got with MCN on Wednesday to find your way to the stands.

But there’s also the Triumph Bonneville Special Edition we spotted on Thursday. It’s got a Union Flag paintjob that’s been approved by Her Majesty the Queen as part of her Golden Jubilee celebrations!

Take a look at the CCM stand and you’ll find there’s a limited-edition version of its R30 factory racer coming out, too.

And, as attractions go, don’t miss out on the fashion show (new for this year) or the MCN BikeMart Fortnightly-sponsored supercross action (we’ll soon be adding video of that).

Don’t miss the MCN stand either. There you’ll find a great deal: for £2 you get MCN, a copy of MCN BikeMart Fortnightly and a copy of Performance Bikes.

To help us make sure everyone gets the best they can out of the show, we want to hear from you with your personal highlights and ” must see ” tips.

Also, let us know where you struck your best deal, and which grub it’s good to tuck into and which should be avoided.

And if you happen to point out where to find some of the finer looking ladies at the show, too, well, we won’t complain.

Please include the phrase NEC SHOW ADVICE in the subject line of your e-mail and send it to david.cushman@emap.com
