Learn off-road skills with BMW

Published: 01 October 2001

The BMW Off-Road Skills course has two remaining dates in 2001: October 19-20 and October 21-22.

This award-winning course, pioneered in Germany, will take place at BMW's exclusive off-road facility in south Wales. It’s perfect for people who have always wanted to ride off-road but have never owned dedicated machinery - or had the nerve.

You get instruction from Paris-Dakar rider Simon Pavey and other experienced rally competitors and you’ll ride the BMW F650 GS.

Participants get a grounding in the basics of off-road riding but the course also caters for those with previous off-road experience.

BMW’s Off-Road Skills costs £325, excluding accommodation, and incorporates two days instruction, bike hire and insurance, fuel, meals and refreshments, and a certificate of completion.
