Police have run out of leads in their hunt for a thief who got away with 15 Yamahas in one raid. Now they need your help.

A white ERF van was stolen when the driver, who was transporting the bikes from a depot in East London to dealers in the south-east of the capital, stopped for a break.

In the haul were seven R1s, two Fazer 1000s, an XJR1300 and a Tmax. They also got away with two TW125s, a pair of SR125s and an Aerox 50 scooter.

The van was stolen from outside 14 Farmdale Road, Greenwich at around 10.45am on Monday, August 6.

Met Police spokesman Sarah Goodall said: ” We’ve had various lines of enquiry which have come to nothing. If anyone has been offered one of these bikes, or knows anything which could be useful, we would be glad to hear from them. ”

If you think you can help, call DC Darren James at Greenwich Police Station on 020-8284-5333 or Crimestoppers on 0800-555-111 if you wish to remain anonymous.
