Kit turns R1 into GP look-a-like

A new bodykit from France gives the R1 the look of Yamaha’s new four-stroke GP racer.

Essonne Motos OW-M1 replica bodywork bolts straight on to any R1.

There’s a headlight tucked under the nose and a tiny tail light under the seat unit to keep it road legal.

Even the OW-M1’s distinctively long and slim exhaust can has been copied by French firm MIG to complete the illusion.

The firm hopes to be able to sell the kits before the start of the season. It has chosen Biaggi’s number ” 3 ” and a silver and black paint scheme for the prototype.
