Winner claims place on race school with Walker and Mackenzie

Ashley Hinge, from Essex is the lucky winner of a place on the European Superbike School to ride with Chris Walker and Niall Mackenzie.

He will join them and other pupils at Croft on September 25.

We asked what bikes the school’s instructors use and the answer (revealed if you checked the sponsors on the European Superbike School’s site) was Triumph.

Hinge, 37, was picked out at random from the 300-plus correct entries we had.

” I’ve been entering virtually every competition on the site so I’m delighted to have finally won one.

” I check the site almost every day to keep abreast of the motorcycle racing news, ” added the RSV Mille owner, who also has a Bandit 1200 for two-up riding.

Mackenzie may well remember a young Hinge from Niall’s days with the Armstrong Racing team. Hinge’s step-father ran it.

If you didn’t win, you can of course still book a place on the school by calling 0870-241-5159.
