The protest ride to Westminster on May 4 will be matched by a similar protest north of the Border, too as Scottish riders lobby their Parliament against proposed anti-biker legislation.

Organiser Gary Thompson told MCN: ” The protest is about the same issues as down South. We are also asking the Scottish Executive to take a more active role in pushing motorcycling as a solution to the growing traffic problems. ”

The Scottish protest will from up at Harthill Services, between Junction 5 and 4 of the M8 Eastbound from 10am and will leave at 12pm, down the M8 for the Parliament buildings to arrive for 2pm.
