Win a 2002 R1 at one of 140 launch parties

Get hold of next week’s MCN and you’ll be in with a chance of winning a 2002 Yamaha R1.

The February 20 issue of the paper will include an entry coupon for the Yamaha competition.

Fill it in and attend one of the 140 R1 launch parties being held at dealers across the country, and you could be riding off on one of the new 1000cc superbikes.

Part of the entry conditions is that you tell Yamaha which dealer you will be visiting at 8pm on February 28, the date of the launch parties.

On drawing the winning entry, Yamaha will ring the dealer where the ” winner ” has told them he will be. The name will be read out and if you aren’t there at the right time, you don’t win. A re-draw for a new winner will follow.

Yamaha marketing director Miles Taylor said: ” Unless you’re in the shop at 8pm, you cannot win. ”

Entry coupons are also available from Yamaha dealers.
