Bike cops form crack sex patrol squad

City officials in the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur have formed a bike-mounted religious police squad to clamp down on courting couples.

Officers from the Islamic Affairs Department will patrol the Shah Alam Lake Garden around the clock to stop " immoral activities " .

Datuk Mansor Ramli, head of the Department, told reporters: " We set up the motorcycle squad to make it easier for our religious officers to patrol the area constantly and stop any immoral activities. "

Residents in nearby estates have complained to the government that they are embarrassed to visit the parks because of the volume of " encounters " .

Officers will use video and photographic evidence to bring charges in a religious court, where offenders can expect stiff punishment.
