Aprilia considers Haga rep

Aprilia is looking into launching a Haga rep Mille R for the road… but the firm wants your input to help it decide whether or not to go ahead with the plan.

” Haga is a very popular rider with fans, even though he is not a Brit everyone here loves him, ” said Aprilia’s marketing manager Paul Walker, ” but we are not sure if the replica would sell. ”

The bike would look similar to the FGF PlayStation superbike that Haga is riding in 2002 WSB with a few extras over the stock R.

That comes with Ohlins suspension, Brembo calipers and a single seat unit as standard. The Haga rep should also get a new exhaust system.

The WSB racer has dropped the single silencer in favour of a twin silencer set-up with one can on either side of the bike.

If you want it, it will be ready by October and cost around £10,000.
