Kawasaki joins big-bore cruiser war

Triumph’s Twenty Two cruiser may not have it all its own way when it comes to the battle of the big-bore cruisers. Kawasaki is ready to roll with a huge V-twin expected to come close to a two-litre capacity.

The Triumph triple will be a 2.2 and Kawasaki’s cruiser, due in September, is expected to at least have a bigger capacity than Honda’s VTX1800.

The British bike has already attracted advance orders from riders impressed with the pictures revealed by MCN last week, according to Triumph specialist Jack Lilley.
