Harley bash faces axe

Celebrations to mark the 100th anniversary of Harley-Davidson are under threat following the gang killings that hit last month’s River Run rally in Nevada.

Officials in Old Bridge, New Jersey, are trying to cancel one of the biggest Harley events, the firm’s ” Open Road Tour ” meeting at Raceway Park on August 16-18, which is expected to draw around 150,000 bikers.

They’re concerned that the feud between rival Hells Angels and Mongols gangs, which has so far left three dead, will again spill into violence.
