Is rarest-ever Triumph at your local dealer?

1 of 1

The fire that swept through Triumph’s Hinckley plant has meant that this red Daytona Centennial is one of the rarest machines ever created by the firm.

For the full story on this special bike don’t miss the latest issueof MCN, out May 8.

Just before the disaster on March 15, Triumph had begun work on some limited edition bikes, but only a handful were produced before the factory was gutted.

As the firm will be concentrating on 2003 models when the production line is back on-stream, these bikes are destined to stay scarce.

Most impressive is this red version of the 955i Daytona, featuring the single-sided swingarm and increased spec of the green Centennial model, of which only 200 were made. Originally the firm intended to make around 200 of the red version too, but only around a dozen have actually made it on sale in this country.
