Lilley promises Daytona Streetfighter

1 of 1

If you thought the factory’s official streetfighter Speed Triple wasn’t wild enough, then the latest brainchild of Triumph specialist Jack Lilley might just do it for you.

For the full story on the Lilley streetfighter don’t miss the latest issue of MCN, out May15.

Like the Speed Triple it’s based on the Daytona, but Lilley’s tuning specialist Clive Wood says it is already making 149bhp at the rear tyre. That’s 14bhp more than the standard 955cc triple, thanks to blueprinting, gasflowing, raised compression and a fruity MHP titanium exhaust.

The bike also features lightweight Dymag wheels, six-piston Beringer brakes, high bars and other bodywork revisions.

And though the final spec isn’t known yet, the extra cost should only add around £3000 on top of the original machine.
