Get paid riding the Thunderbike

1 of 1

If you have ever fancied getting paid to ride a motorbike, and fancy a bit of local fame as well, 96 Trent FM might have the perfect job for you.

The radio station has a vacancy for a new travel reporter in Nottingham, riding the ‘Thunderbike’ (a Suzuki GSX750F) to report on local traffic. You’ll be doing the breakfast and afternoon drive-time and Saturday mornings, and you’ll need a full bike licence with no points on it.

You’ll also need to be able to represent the station whilst out and about, and have a radio-friendly voice, although coaching and training will be given.

To apply either e-mail dick.stone@creation.com, or write to Dick Stone, Programme Controller, 96 Trent FM, 29-31, Castle Gate, Nottingham, NG1 7AP.

Is this your idea of an ideal job? If you’ve had a better, or funnier, bike-related job, then let us know by e-mailing mcn.online@emap.com or post a message on the News discussion board.
