The MCN Race of Champions Supermoto

MCN is backing the inaugral Race of Champions Supermoto race at Donington Park on February 22-23.

The event takes place over three 20 lap races, with 24 riders invited to compete for a £10,000 prize fund. Support action comes from the final rounds of the ACU British Supermoto Championship. The British Championship heats and quarter-finals take place on Saturday February 22, with the semi finals and finals, plus the MCN Race of Champions, on the Sunday. All the racing will take place on the spectacular new 1.5 mile Supermoto course which Donington have created, with a 70% tarmac/30% non-tarmac mix.

The riders will compete for the top prize and race of Champions trophy over three 20 lap races, with the winner decided on a points basis. The overall winner on Sunday will get £1000 and the trophy, with the money going all the way down to £100 for 24th position.

The racing is open to Supermotard machines from 250cc to 750cc, and the course will be available for testing on Friday February 21.

The prices are Adults £5 on Saturday, with children and parking both free. On Sunday, adults are £8, but kids and parking is still free.
