Ride to Work Day 2003

1 of 1

Ride To Work Day takes place on Wednesday July 16, 2003, and the search is already underway to find the most motorcycle-friendly company in Great Britain.

The winner gets a motorcycle park built on site, thanks to organisers The Motorcycle Industry Association and sponsors Bennetts Insurance. Last year Bentley Motor Cars beat 10 other companies by getting 100 employees to ride to work.

This year, the MCI wants to encourage entries outside of the motorcycle community and has sent information out to the local and national press. There will also be a publicity stunt in London, featuring 30ft by 15ft underwear bearing the slogan ” Driving is Pants ” .

For competition application forms and further information contact: Tracey King, 0870-3307809. And if your firm doesn’t have a fleet of bike riders, just pray that Pizza Hut doesn’t find out.
