700 lids stolen in Oxford raid

Oxford Products is warning helmet buyers to be on their guard after more than 700 HJC lids were stolen from its warehouse in what appears to be a professional operation.

Thieves went through a manhole cover to disconnect phone systems and ripped out a security system as well as preparing two escape routes from the warehouse last weekend. Oxford Products Ltd are located in Kidlington, near Oxford.

Staff are carrying out a stock check which they believe will reveal that a significant amount of Oxford branded products has also been stolen.

The firm is warning dealers and motorcyclists to keep an eye out for anyone selling strangely cheap HJC or Oxford products who are not official Oxford dealers. You can see a full list of authorised retailers at www.oxprod.com.
