‘Motorcycle Diaries’ favourite for Palme d’Or

1 of 1

The clever money is on a South American movie called ‘The Motorcycle Diaries’ to land the coveted Palme d’Or at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.

Critics say it’s the most universally acclaimed movie being shown at the festival. It deals with the story of a young Che Guevara travelling through Latin American by bike and discovering revolutionary politics along the way – not quite what most of us get from a thrash along the Cat & Fiddle… but there you go.

Bikes are getting top billing all over Hollywood at the moment. Paycheck is just going on sale on DVD which features a BMW Rockster and you can win one in a series of promotions surrounding the film. One online competition closes today (May 21), so click here if you want to enter.
