Win 50 copies of city parking guide

1 of 1

Travelling into London by bike makes sense. But finding a bike parking bay can be a nightmare. Park outside one and a plague of traffic wardens will descend upon you with a £50 fine within minutes. We’ve got the solution and we’re giving it away.

E-mail us your entry and you could be one of 50 winners of Piaggio’s new London Motorcycle & Scooter Parking Map.

It’s an updated and extended pocket-sized booklet that follows the model of the scooter parking map the firm launched last year. It aims to show the location of every motorcycle and scooter parking bay within the London Congestion Charge zone and many of the surrounding boroughs, including Kensington & Chelsea, Hammersmith, Westminster, Camden, Islington, Hackney, Southwark, Vauxhall and Kilburn. Parking bays are not marked on any other maps.

It includes an A-Z street index and an at-a-glance key to the different types of parking bays – permit, payment, free or discounted. The map also shows petrol stations and lists the rules and regulations for bike parking in London.

It is available from Piaggio dealerships for £3.50.

But for your chance to claim a free one simply email mcn.online@emap.com with ‘Parking’ in the subject line. You should include your user name, full name and postal address and your answer to this question: What is the zone in London in which cars are charged to travel but bikes go free? A) Electric Charge Zone B) Congestion Charge Zone C) Community Charge Zone.

The closing date for entries is May 11, 2004.
