New face of the BMF

1 of 1

Leon Mannings is the new chairman of the BMF. He was elected, at Saturday’s AGM in Leicester, to replace Sharon Nash – who held the post since October 1999.

In his pitch Mannings told members: “The BMF is a great organisation with a great team but we need to change up a few gears to realise our true potential.”

The commercial photographer, said: “I want to get us into the fast lane when it comes to grabbing government attention and getting our issues addressed.”

He added: “The BMF has worked hard in identifying how to improve riding in Britain, but all too often, bikers’ rights and concerns are ignored by politicians and government officers. My mission is to change all that.”

Mannings has been riding since he was 14 and is currently awaiting delivery of a Triumph Rocket Three.
