Join London Unity ride

1 of 1

The Unity Ride aims to show respect and unity in the wake of the London bombings on July 7, 2005, by gathering together one of the largest rides through the capital.

It takes place on Sunday, August 21,2005 with a number of departure points around the outskirts of London, and riders congregating at Regents Park. It will then pass each site of the bombings and visit to the Memorial Gardens. The ride will eventually reach the Ace Cafe and will be marked by a raising of the flag which has stood at half-mast since July 7.

The ride will be led by members of the Metropolitan Police Motorcycle Tasking Team, and they ask that riders act responsibly during the event as a mark of respect.

The departure times are shown below:

Ace Cafe 11:00am

Oakdene Cafe 10:00am

High Beech 10:15am

Box Hill 10:00am

London Colney 10:15am
