Chili leathers raise £655

1 of 1

Our auction of Frankie Chili’s leathers from his 2003 WSB season has raised £655 for Riders for Health after it was won by a huge Chili fan.

Steve Brand from Gwent knew he had to have the leather as soon as they went live on our new auctions site.

Brand: “I’ve been a mad fan of Frankie Chili for years so when these came up I just had to have them. Plus knowing that I was helping a rider’s charity, which is a really good thing, helped justify the money.

“I had him sign my arm at brands Hatch which I then got tattooed. I have all sort of signed pics and even managed to get a signed knee slider this year at Silverstone after I pulled it from his leathers.

“I know Frankie is very small in build and the leathers fit my son, Michael, so I will let him wear them on the odd occasion then put them back in to a display unit.”

Click here to go to our new Auctions section where there are still more charity auctions to bid on plus loads of kit and bikes up for sale.
