Roberts GP bike for sale

The US round of the MotoGP championship is just one of the attractions in Monterey on July 9 – another is the Monterey Classic Bike Auction with Kurtis Roberts’ Proton KR V5 MotoGP bike under the hammer.

The 200bhp-plus bike is iin full working order and anyone can bid.

If you can’t make it to California in person, the auction offers a complete real-time internet bidding option.

Other lots at the auction include the first ever KTM 950 SM off the production line, a Honda RC162 250cc 1961 Mike Hailwood Replica, a 2004 two-wheel-drive Yamaha WR-450F that hasn’t even gone in to production and a 4000-mile Honda Rune.

The sale takes place on July 9 but you need to register July 7 in order to bid.
