Biker ballet at Kiev show

The Ukraine’s first ever big bike show, Moto Bike 2005, has just finished in the capital Kiev – complete with a motorcycle-themed ballet.

motorcyclenews.com regular Mykola Maruschak was there and sent in these pictures and his report of events.

Mykola said: “Suzuki, Yamaha and Kawasaki all showed their latest ranges, attracting crowds of around 40,000 people over the four days of the show at the end of February.”

Star attractions were the new 05 R6 in black, a Ukrainian debut for the Honda Valkyrie, the new ZX-636 and a line up of new Suzukis including the Bandit 650 and K5 versions of the GSX-R600 and 750, V-Strom 650 and Burgman 400.

Suzuki’s stand also included the requisite number of attractive young ladies – all, conveniently, called ‘Suzi’, said Mykola.

As well as the Suzuki-sponsored ballet, bikes and babes, visitors were attracted with a lottery and products from Motul, Elf, Givi and Suomy.
