Egg runs cancelled

1 of 1

Two annual Egg Runs have been cancelled due to problems organising police escorts.

Both the Wirral Easter Egg run and the East Midlands MAG run in Nottingham have been aborted due to concerns about safety. Police in Merseyside have asked for people who were planning to attend the Wirral Run to donate directly to their local hospital instead. The Nottingham run will still take place on an unofficial basis on March 20, with riders making their own way to the County Hall or meeting at The Forest as usual.
