Fun for a sunny weekend

1 of 1

It looks like it is going to be another sunny weekend with perfect conditions to get out on a bike and plenty of reasons to do it.

The forecast for the weekend shows sun across most of the UK. It may not be scortching hot but then you don’t want it too warm when your fully kitted up.

There’s loads to do this weekend as well with everything from the National Bikesafe show to the chance to bag a bargain classic – or you could just simply go for a blast.

The National Bikesafe show is on all weekend at Cheltenham racecourse and you’ll be able to meet Honda BSB riders Michael Rutter and Karl Harris, see all the latest bikes on display and get a riding assessment from one of the 60 advanced instructors that will be at the show. Click here for more information.

If you want a bit more action you could head to Croft circuit in North Yorkshire to watch the Derby Pheonix club races where you’ll see everything from BSB spec superbikes to 400s and sidecars.

Or why not head to Newmarket racecourse with your wallet in hand. Cheffins will be auctioning off a whole load of bikes from a 1974 Ducati DM250D to a Ducati 916 Foggy rep.

If you want to make the weekend last that one extra day them book yourself a place on the MCN Sports day at Brands Hatch on Monday. Not only will you get top tuition on the track all day but you’ll also get to ride with GP rider Shane Byrne.
