Ride Europe for UNICEF

1 of 1

You could join in a 200-bike ride around Europe in summer 06 – including a ride around the Nurburgring – and all in aid of UNICEF.

Organisers of ‘Another Way Round’ say their event is in the spirit of Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman’s Long Way Round trip because they too are selecting UNICEF as the charity to support. Each participant must raise a minimum of £100 for UNICEF.

You must also pay £525 per person for the trip itself. The price includes six days and five nights taking in London, Stuttgart, Geneva, Paris and the Nurburgring circuit in Germany. The price includes stays in three and four star hotels between June 24 and 29, 2006, travel on a private eurotunnel train, a luggage carrier service, overnight security and end of tour dinner in Paris.

Departure points throughout the UK will be available prior to the main U.K departure at London’s Ace Cafe.

The aim is to present a cheque for at least £20,000 to UNICEF at the Ace Café at the end of the journey.

Organisers, who describe themselves as “a few like minded bikers running this in our spare time,” say they will only be making a small profit as a contribution towards the time they must spend promoting and running the event.
