Britain's best Harleys

All year, Harley-Davidson UK have been searching for the ultimate examples of the marque. The final was the main attraction at the Harley-Davidson Europe HQ Open House for HOG members on October 1, and MCN was invited to join Garry Brumfitt and Paul Barker (both Directors of Harley-Davidson Europe) on the judging panel.

Jostling for attention with the Doobie Others band, a hog roast, demo rides and displays of Harleys old and new, the Best Harley-Davidson competition presented a selection of highly-pampered hogs in seven categories (Sportster; Dyna; Softail; V-Rod; Antique; Touring; Radical).

The winners of the individual categories all scooped a trip to California this November for the NHRA drag racing championship finals. And the overall winner went home with a brand new V-Rod…must have been fun strapping that on to the pillion…
