Marathon New Year

Most of us will still be in bed nursing our hangovers on New Year’s Day.

Not Michael Curtis from West Sussex, he will be enduring a six-hour non-stop off-road ride for charity.

The Walpole Cross Keys man, who has been riding motocross for 37 years, will ride his classic BSA Metisse in Walpole St Andrew.

He is aiming to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support and the Samaritans.
