Bikers ride for fun

A survey has claimed that out of 3,517 riders, 83 per cent think that biking is for fun. The survey was carried out by Tickbox in aid of The National Motorcycle Week, 16-23rd July 2006.

Other bikers believe that biking is for freedom (79%), flexibility (50%), speed (37%) and friendship (34%), proving that speed is not the only thing bikers think about.

MCI’s Craig Carey- Clinch believes that ‘riders know that motorcycling has more to offer’ and that non-riders judge riders by claiming they only ride because it is ‘fast’.
