Cops back Ride 2 Work

1 of 1

Cleveland police are being praised for offering support to the National Ride to Work day on July 19, 2006.

The force contacted the local Motorcycle Action group representative to suggest they would go out and acknowledge other motorcyclists on the day, but the plan has now grown to a demo ride starting from 7am and riding into Middlesborough for 8:30am with police marshals. The idea has support from the Deputy Chief Contsable who passed his Direct Access test last year.
