Right bike buy wins £1K

Garry Cheeseman not only found his ideal bike on motorcyclenews.com – he landed one of our £1000 weekly cash prizes in the process.

Gary pocketed the £1000 in our Click4Cash promotion. Every time users clicked to ‘email the seller’ in the Bikes For Sale section of the site they were entered into a weekly draw.

Gary said: “I was looking for a sports tourer in motorcyclenews.com’s Bikes For Sale. My first choice was a Honda Super Blackbird – which is exactly what I found.

“It was owned by a private seller – who contacted me via my enquiry in the Click4Cash competition. After a bit of negotiating, I did buy the bike.”

The promotion lasted eight weeks and is now over.

Gary admits to being shocked and surprised at securing the £1000 as a bonus on top of finding his ideal bike at the right price.

Now he’s ready to sell his current bike – the Honda CBR600F he bought five years ago after finding it on motorcyclenews.com. Look out for it in our Bikes For Sale section soon.

Garry’s in luck again – because our latest survey shows the CBR600F is the most sought-after bike by serious buyers using the Advanced Search tool in Bikes For Sale.

Other recent winners include Paul Woodburn from Reading. He’s a newcomer to two wheels and was searching for an XVF125 when he bagged his £1000 prize. Now that cash will help him make his first bike purchase.

He used our ’email the seller’ function to email several dealers but the one that had the bike he wanted – and a great deal – was Laguna of Maidstone, Kent.
