Crashing con

Ten people were arrested on Tuesday, November 7 believed to be taking part in the insurance scam ‘crash for cash’ that is likely to have involved both motorcyclists and car drivers.

The conmen would make an innocent road users crash into them and then make insurers pay inflated compensation to bogus insurance firms.

Police believe the group netted £1million and the money could have funded terrorist activity.
