Some familiar faces have paid a visit to the Yamaha stand at the NEC’s International Motorcycle and Scooter Show.

New singing Troy Corser, who will be riding alongside Noriyuki Haga in the 2007 World Superbike Championship was the first to make an appearance on Press Day. This was Troy’s first appearance since joining the team and his test ride on the new R1.

MotoGP’s Colin Edward flew in to the show straight after his ninth place finish in Valencia. Colin will once again be partnering Valentino Rossi on the new 800cc YZF-M1 for 2007.

Other Yamaha riders taking to the stand were British Superbike’s Tommy Hill and TT racer Guy Martin. Hill will be campaigning the new R1 for Virgin Mobile Yamaha while Martin will be gunning for ‘Roads’ glory with AIM Yamaha; contesting the IOM TT, NW200 and Ulster GP on both the YZF-R1 and YZF-R6 machines.

The riders have spent time talking to fans, signing autographs and trying out the YZF-R1 for size at the show in Birmingham, which continues until Sunday, November 5.
