Nightmare Gloucestershire roads

I agree with Richard whole heartedly.

Having been out for the first long run of the year today, I can quite honestly say that the county’s roads are absouloutly atrocious.

This is unless you happen to go through the Forest of Dean where there seems to have been a major resurfacing scheme going on along the A 4136 to Monmouth. But get into Wales and you might as well be in a different continent.

The Welsh roads are a joy to ride on, no potholes, just nice smooth grippy roads.

Even Worcestershires roads are better than ours lots of safety features like Shell Grip on bends.

Considering the number of rich and famous and royals who populate Gloucestershire, you would think that the council could afford to look after the roads.

So come on Goucestershire County Council how about looking after our roads, the way the Welsh look after theirs.
