Thousands turn out for Knievel funeral

Thousands of fans and friends turned out yesterday for the funeral of daredevil Evel Knievel.

The Butte Civic Arena was filled as people braved snowstorms to pay tribute. During the ceremony, boxer Joe Frazier and actor Matthew McConaughey were among those to pay their resects to Knievel.

The daredevil lay in state for several hours before the ceremony started, with TV evengelist Rev Robert Schuller officating.
