Motocross track gets reprieve at cost of supermotos

A Suffolk motocross track at the centre of a dispute over planning permission has been given permission to remain open.

WildTracks at Chippenham was created four years ago without permission, and planners want the track removed. But Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government Ruth Kelly granted the track a reprieve, though complaints over noise will mean new noise limits and a ban on supermoto events.
