Big fine for 183mph biker

A South African motorcyclist has been fined R102000 (£7371.10) after he was caught speeding at 183mph in KwaZulu-Natal.

The fine was also set by magistrates for the rider, jan Hendrick, not displaying number plates and riding an unlicensed motorbike. He’ll only have to pay R50000 at the moment, but if he commits a similar crime int he next five years, the balance of the fine will then be due.
