Stamford Superbikes is selling six of these Chris Vermeulen replica GSX-R1000s, the colour scheme used by the Aussie as a tribute to his protégé Barry Sheene at the Australian MotoGP last year.

Only available from Stamford Superbikes, each of the six specially painted machines is individually numbered on the airbox cover and come with twin titanium Arrow silencers with carbon hangers.

The bikes will be selling at £9599, just £650 more than a standard new Suzuki GSX-R1000, and come with the option of a single or dual seat, a headlight cover with the number 71 and 10 per cent off any additional accessories or free fitting of further accessories.

Stamford Superbikes are also throwing in two years warranty, one years free breakdown cover and a 0 per cent finance deal.
