Police in North Wales are targeting motorcyclists with an unmarked Honda Fireblade equipped with a camera.
A former officer who still works closely with the force said at least one other unmarked sports bike was being used in the clampdown.
“They’re not actually going to be stopping people. They’re just going to be filming them and then you’ll get your summons within a fortnight,” he said.
Our source said he’d asked whether officers would focus on the worst offenders and been told: “No. We’ll be going for all bikes at all speeds.”
The source also confirmed reports North Wales Police are targeting motorcyclists with a speed camera disguised as a horse box. He said the horse box was towed by a Land Rover and had been in use since Thursday.
