Michael Schumacher to race under false name

German newspaper Bild has reported that Michael Schumacher will be entering the IDM International German Motorbike Championship under a false name.

Seven time Formula One Champion Michael Schumacher will be entering this weekend IDM round at the Oschersleben circuit under the alias Marcel Niederhausen. Michael Schumacher will be racing for Holzhauer Racing, the current IDM champions.

Michael Schumacher has repeatedly said that he will not be pursuing motorcycle racing as a career and he insists it is just a hobby.

So far he has taken part in various races on a Honda Fireblade, Triumph 675 Daytona and a KTM 990 Superduke.
