Conventional switchgear: BMW wimps out

So BMW has finally conceeded to the motorcycling press with their prissy hands and small brains who have never been able to work out that when you want to turn left use the left switch and when you want to turn right use the right switch, like we had to do with our arms, before the days of indicators.

Did it tax their brains so much testing BMW’s that there constant gripe was I dont like the indicator control switches, but the rest of the bike was OK? Well you moan about things enough and BMW bottled it for the sake of peace wrapped up in the guise of we need more room for our switch gear.

Personally I like the indicator switch gear and HATE the Japanese type, becuase I have MAN sized hands I have to take my hands off the left bar in order to push the indicator for right turns, especially when I have on big gloves when I am riding in the cold and wet “all year round”.

Maybe BMW should have done a poll to see what the concencus of opinion was, like they didn’t do when the tried to phase out boxer engines, now the top selling bike.

Whats wrong with being different from the rest. I thought as bikers thats what we were all about. Shame on you BMW, you could have made the “nancy boys” swich an optional extra.
