Arc-on reveals new one-piece suit

British leathers manufacturer Arc-on has released details of its new top-of-the-range one-piece suit, which comes in at a very favourable £399.99.

The Corse race suit comes only in black/red and features (deep breath everyone…) 1.2-1.4 mm grade A cowhide (with double layer at backside, thighs and elbows), removable Knox CE-approved armour and External thermo-plastic ‘slide aids’ on knees/elbow/shoulders, shoulder air vents, perforated chest panels, a speed hump, Scholler stretch Kevlar panels in groin, behind knee, under arms and back of neck for ergonomic fit, corrugated stretch leather panels in rear torso, knee and shoulder blades, kneesliders, pre-curved arms and legs for ergonomic fit, and an anti-bacterial mesh lining.

Racers wearing the suit this year include Mist Suzuki European Superstock rider Matt Bond (who’ll be wearing a special union jack-themed suit for the Donington WSB support race) and American racer Jay Page who will be competing in the 2009 Isle of Man TT.
